Celebrating a Wonderful Year: FC Juvenat’s End-of-School-Year Party

By James Louis-Charles (July 17th, 2026)

On June 27th, FC Juvenat held its end-of-school-year celebration to honor the kids for a wonderful year. Parents and children gathered together, and the day began with a small tournament where the kids competed among themselves. The celebration continued with a party, highlighted by a medal ceremony for all participants, with Mme Marie Jean-Baptiste, Director of Union School, joining us to help distribute the medals.

None of this would be possible without our generous donors, and we are deeply grateful for their continued support in making moments like this happen.

With the World Cup coming up, the excitement was contagious, and it showed in every match of our small tournament. Our kids dream big, and many of them dream of one day representing Haiti on that same world stage.

Right now, the kids are home enjoying the World Cup, which wraps up this Sunday, July 19th. Some of our older kids are also taking their state exams this summer and need the time off to focus on studying; therefore, we’re taking this break to let them concentrate on what matters most.

Looking ahead, we’d love to offer our kids even more, including English classes for some and, in the future, a full summer camp program, but to grow, we need more support. If you believe in the work we’re doing, please consider donating so we can restart strong in September.

You can donate at https://fcjuvenat.org/donate/ or via Zelle at [email protected] (The Juvenat Alliance). All donations are tax-deductible.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us since the beginning and throughout the year. We’re on summer break and look forward to starting fresh in September for the 2026-2027 school year.
